The Cat & Cage Folk Club presents Yuppah. Yuppah brings together Jayne Pomplas, Jason MacNamara, Robbie Reilly & Alex Moore in a collision of modular synths, folk instruments & raw improvisation. Their sound fuses the lyricism of folk traditions with the intensity of punk, the pulse of rave culture, and the abstraction of experimental noise, shaping immersive live experiences that remain unpredictable at every turn. Drawing from radically different influences – traditional fiddle, anarchic performance, and playful sonic experimentation – the group thrives on spontaneity: fiddle lines twist through distorted beats, songs unravel into ecstatic disorder, and noise dissolves into moments of fragile melody.
