With diverse influences ranging from Christy Moore to Kate Nash, Cuilla’s distinctive, smoky vocals & ethereal harp solos are complimented by melodic undertones on violin. The unique string trio of guitar, harp & violin makes for a mystical & nostalgic sound, while the combination of striking rhythms & simple ballad-like lyrics speak to the zetigeist of modern Ireland.
