The Cat & Cage Folk Club presents Anita Malzone and the Village is a vibrant jazz ensemble, celebrated for blending soulful melodies and bringing a unique new energy to jazz standards and specially curated pieces. Led by Australian vocalist Anita Malzone, the group features Dave Fleming (bass), Robert Freese (drums), and Marcello Jaume (piano). Together they create a rich, dynamic sound that transforms every performance into an intimate and enjoyable musical space. Drawing inspiration from classic jazz, modal music, and improvised textures, Anita Malzone and the Village transform familiar music and make it their own, delivering performances full of energy, emotion, and storytelling.
