Cat & Cage Folk Club – Céadaoin Collective

The Céadaoin Collective is an Irish Traditional/Contemporary Folk group. The line up comprises highly-regarded singer-songwriter Emma O’Reilly, champion flautist Robert Harvey, composer & choral director Carmel Whelan, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Kin Yip Yau & violinist / pianist Niall Mannion. Setting out on their inaugural tour of Ireland, the collective kick things off with a special appearance on Sept 2nd, featuring the first full performance of O’Reilly’s new EP Sailing Home, new music from Whelan, Traditional selections from Harvey, and new arrangements of Folk tunes by Andrew Kin Yip Yau. With support from lush Art-Folk artist Everything The Light Touches, whose masterful EP What Else Is There was released last year to critical acclaim, it promises to be an evening of unforgettable music.
